When stuff like the B2 exists, it’s no wonder some people believe in UFOs.

All the noise is coming from the Bone, and all the smoke is from the BUFF.

When they retire the B-1 and the B-2 to AMARG, the crews will fly home in a B-52.

Are they still talking about refitting it? Maybe I read too many Old Dog novels back in the day, but I’d love to see it modernized.

We tried to get close but the traffic was NUTS and we were hungry.... there’s a Hardee’s right across the highway from the end of the E/W runway with a HUGE parking lot full of people set up to watch so we parked there and sat in the truck for most of the time. Saw a few Ford Tri-Motors fly low overhead before landing, but otherwise had an OK view of the show. We left after the bombers flew over.

That’s probably one of the better free views you’ll get. The tri Motors give rides all day long — sounds like they got their 2nd one back airworthy, one was grounded Thursday, so I didn’t get up in one. Wait was too long.
